Hi,

I m trying to establish link from Access to Teradata tables but failed -- the ODBC connection established fine, but there is no table for me to choose from within the Access table selection step.

The same ODBC connection works fine for other Teradata tools e.g., Sql assistant, and I can even copy data from Teradata tables to Excel using the same ODBC connection.

I have no idea what s wrong. Googling for answer suggests me that giving the ODBC trace might help, so here it is:

What interesting to me is that I can only acquire the ODBC trace for Access, but neither Excel nor Teradata Sql assistant. So I can t even make a comparison myself.

Any help is appreciated.

My environment:

TD server version 12.

TD Windows ODBC is the latest version, IIRC, 12.0.0.12 Excel/Access version 2007.

Windows XP, w/ latest patches
