Hi

If I declare the decimal value SALARY decimal (5, 2) and I insert the records like (999.99) then it doesn’t round off the value.

But if I declare salary (15,2) and I insert the record like(9999999999999.99) then it makes the round off the value and result is stored by 1.0000000 etc.

I do not want to round off the value.

Please let me know how we could avoid this problem.
