Hi

I need to find patterns in a varchar field like '%R[0-9]%'

which means an 'R' combined with a digit and no spaces between in any position of the string.

How can I formulate such a condition in SQL?

How would I have to do it, if I'd look for '%R[0-9][0-9]%' which means an R combined with 2 following digits?

Any help appreciated
