I found out that Between Current_Date - 3 and CurrentDate does not work until 12.0.

This is a known software defect that was fixed in Teradata 12.0. There is a DR (88310) that was used to track this defect, however the change is a part of a major parser design change in 12.0 and can not be ported back to any earlier release. There is a workaround that can be used to resolve this issue. Instead of using CURRENT_DATE you need to hard-coded the dates until you can update to Teradata 12.0.
