Subj:   Re: Locking Row for Access Stmt

From:   Ramchandran, Janardhan

Hi,

Access lock is a dirty locked placed on both the tables and rows which has been under transaction. So placing the access lock on the table as well as on the rowhash levels won't affect any of your performance ,while the access lock has been placed on your table or row is still available for any other locks,so workloads will be processed as its way.

Note:- By placing the access lock and retrieving the data will give you the inconsistent data.
