I suggest to read the parallel thread with the "previous row" puzzle and then perhaps open the manuals describing OLAP functions such as RANK()
or ROW_NUMBER(). This is all you really need to solve your problem yourself. I don't think that this particular puzzle is interesting enough for a
separate discussion when a similar one has just been discussed in all due depth.
Could be just my opinion, though.
