Hi,

Sorry,it was a typo,the effective dates are different

Here is a sample scenario

     item_num  advc num     effective_date

     278051    550949        11/04/2007
     278051    550953        11/04/2007
     278051    550962        11/04/2007
     278051    519293        03/25/2007
     278051    519284        03/25/2007

I have a requirement where if user dynamically chooses the effective date,the previous effective date and its corresponding advc num must be chosen.

Eg: If user chooses effective_date as 11/04/2007 then the report must display the previous effective date for the same item 278051 with previous effective date as 03/25/2007 with its advc num as 519293 and I need to show even the current effective date with its current advc num. Cud anyone help me out.
