It makes no difference. It used to be that you could not collect statistics on multiple column unless the columns matched an index and you
used the INDEX syntax, but that restriction was lifted some time ago. V2R5 or earlier. Now, you can collected stats on single columns or
multiple columns and the multiple columns need not match the columns of any index and you can use either COLUMN or INDEX.
