Dear All,

As you know that we can use TOP function (in V2R6 )to get the TOP rows, I was playing with that function and comparing with SAMPLE function

By using TOP function the query returns immediately comparing with SAMPLE function (runtime very less)

     Sel TOP 100 * from table
     Vs
     Sel * from table sample 100

Will you give your ideas that would be more appropriate .
