Hi,

I like to cast a timstamp field to the lesser precision, the manual says, its not allowed.

Is there a workaround for it, or how is it been done in real time, when its required.

For example, the below query gives the error

     "7454:  DateTime field overflow "

     sel cast(current_timestamp(6) as timestamp(0));

Please throw some light, if you have come across this problem before.
