Hi all, I'm trying to access external data in Oracle using a Teradata table function.

In order to access Oracle I would normally use sqlplus (BTEQ equivalent) from the same host where TTU might live.

So, to use a TF to access Oracle I expected to call sqlplus from the TF.

This means I either have to install sqlplus on the Teradata node(s), which I'm not sure would ever be allowed, or somehow call sqlplus on the host from the TF running on the Teradata node(s). I'm not sure if this is possible.

I hope this makes sense. All help greatly appreciated.
