The original poster never said whether the suggestions corrected his problem, but I noticed some years ago that the parser appeared to treat 18-digit literals as floats rather than decimals. For instance, inserting the value 123456789012345678 through BTEQ did not necessarily result in that exact value being stored. But I haven't tested this recently.
