I'm not the one with the handy scripts but I can tell you what we do. We use Erwin to construct the Teradata definitions from the Oracle definitions and then - and here's the clever bit - completely automate the load-script, using the Erwin Macro language.

I would encourage much more use of the Erwin Macro language, which is pretty simple and ideally suited to tasks against relational tables.
