Subj:   Remove non-numeric characters.

From:   RAJESH.TAMBE

Hi,

In our database we are having one party_address table with column party_id, addr1, addr2, addr3, pin_cd where pin_cd is 6 digit area pin code. Since old data also populated in DW 25% records are having pin_cd = 0 however the pin code is available in address line 3 i.e. addr3, but it also contains alpha & non-alpha characters can the only numeric values be extracted from the said field

In sql server such script is available on net
