Looks like I forgot to allow for Connect/Disconnect when I added a feature that automatically disconnects you when it gets a 'connection reset'
error ... and this was the result.
I guess there are not too many people using the feature.
The problem was fixed in the next release (7.1) but I guess I didnt realize it needed to be retrofitted to 7.0.x.
