Yes, there is a limit for the number of sessions per PE. Mike has compiled a list of limits for V2R5.0 and posted it in the Forum's Library:

Some limits might have changed for subsequent releases.

I think the limit you have hit is this one: "Sessions per PE 120".

Check whether you have utility loads running concurrently with your job and whether you can reduce the number of sessions they consume.
