Subj:		Recommendations from Statistics Wizard

Ref: Statistics Wizard Version 1.1.0.0 on Teradata V2R5.1

When making recommendations for some existing tables, most were implemented as "Collect Statistics ..." on the column/Index.

However, on some columns on a few very small tables, the recommendation came out as "Collect Statistics Using Sample... ." on some of the columns/Indexes. In fact, some columns in these same tables were implemented as "using Sample" while others were implemented as using the entire population (without sampling). All recommendations for a given table were made and implemented on the same day.

There does not appear to be an obvious pattern to this.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Do more recent versions of Statistics Wizard remedy this problem?
