Ok, thank you very much. I understood that.

But, returning to my original question, i couldn't make a report with BTEQ command. I did it with fastexport.

There's no way to make a report with BTEQ command that show newlines character if they are stored in the DB?

If i have this:

     Select
     *
     From
     Database;

Stored in the DB, the report show me:

     Select * from database;

Replacing de newline charactes with spaces....

I couldn't find the way to make it works....
