According to the documentation it should prompt you for logon. That said, in Teradata Manager, choose "Options", then "Change Logon Settings" and this will bring up the logon screen. At the very bottom is an option: "Automatically show this dialog next time". You can choose this option to always get the logon prompt.

Also, in the "Logon Information" dialog box is option "Save as defaults". Choose this to have Teradata Manager remember your login settings and automagically log you on when you open the app. If you choose this, remember that if your logon info changes, you'll have to change it here.
