Subj:   Abort a query if it exceeds time limit

Hi All,

Using BTEQ as an option, can somebody let me know an option to kill the query if it goes beyond some specified time limit.

So lets say I specify 10 minutes. If the query runtime exceeds 10 minutes, the query should get aborted automatically.

What are the other options available outside BTEQ. I know we can do it using JDBC/ODBC. I do not have a single query but set of queries run in script mode.

Please suggest.

Thanks a lot!
