I think one can capture ACTIVITYCOUNT in the shell and then try to insert into the (audit-statistics) table.

I guess this can go on the following lines..Im not on teradata now and have no method to verify this..

     SELECT stmt;

     .OS ACTIVITY_COUNT_VARIABLE = ACTIVITYCOUNT
