OK, now that I look at the history.txt file I see that the problem of saving shorter files over longer ones (leaving garbage at the end) was not fixed until version 6.2.0.1.

I would suggest you download the latest 6.2 efix (6.2.0.3) from the patch server. (Contact your NCR support folks if you dont know how to access the patch server.)

Alternatively you may want to look into moving to 7.0 or 7.1 (in TTU 8.0 and 8.1 respectively)

If you do upgrade I would suggest getting the latest patch for these versions from the patch server also. (Both have a .0.3 patch, as of this morning.)
