Thanks for the reply.

Your reply may be most feasible reason for this error as we are not using any non existing table or table with secondary index. The target table is a temporary table created in the same script.

However, this table creation is done at the start of the script and a number of inserts (statements) are done after that. I get this error only in 8th insert statement.

So even if the explanation given by you is quite logical, it does not explain why dictionary is not ready even after 7th successful insert into it.

Even then thank you all for the insight given for the problem.

I will ask my DBA to run checktable on the user.
