Hi;

I have been getting an error where after a query, the software tries compact the history database.

The message bar says: "unable to compact history database"

I then get a banner error:

"Unable to open history database. Cannot open database : then the path. It may not be a database your application recognizes for the database is corrupt."

The database I have on my machine is Microsoft Access 2002 SP3. running Windows 2000 Professional 5.0.2195 Service pack 4 build 2195.

Should I delete the current history database and start a new one? If so How?

Any other suggestions?????
