Hi All,

Can anybody tell me, why I am getting "Error: 3541 The request to assign new PERMANENT space is invalid."

Details are as below

I have one Database "ABCD" with currentperm as 2.5 GB (used perm space for tables) and its maxperm is 18 GB. This means it has around 15 GB free space. When I am trying to reduce its space by 3-4 GB or some MB's I am getting above error.

I know this error usually gets if we tried to reduce space more than used space or if we are trying to allocated more space than parent. But I donot have any of such case.

Is there anybody who have already had this type of issue?
