In a coexistent system what do you mean by ".... EMC under one system and the other brand under the rest of the system"? There is only one
system coexistence or not. Some issues are: 1) same node software across all the nodes in one system; 2) I/O performance profile balance across
all nodes/vprocs; 3) underlying SMS (system management software) to the AWS from all nodes.
Not that it would be technically impossible I think it's more of system administration, supportability.
