I don't think I've ever seen an explain return actual data - with the exception of data passed in

Eg. where xyz=123 would say something like with a condition of 'xyz=123'.

The explain doesn't have visibility of the data holding because it doesn't actually run the query. So it shouldn't be able to return any values from the database itself.
