How is your partitioning column defined? Generally you would use

     ALTER TABLE xxx.yyy
     MODIFY PRIMARY INDEX
     ADD RANGE BETWEEN 200601 and 200652 EACH 1;

If your column is integer you could have some unused partitions for weeks 53 thru 99 for the currently allocated range, I haven't dealt with year-week formats before.
