Hi All,

I am populating a column by converting decimal(16, 0) into varchar(18) as below.

     trim(col1 (int))

A boring trailing dot will appear if I simply use trim(col1).

The issue is that some of the 'col1' values go beyond the Teradata max integer limit. So I cann't discard the trailling dot by this way.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Any resolutions are welcome.
