Hello,

I've had the same thoughts, and in fact submitted an ER for this scenario:

I should be possible to "COLLECT STATISTICS ON TABLE_A FROM TABLE_B".

I reckon the stats could just be copied from the old to the new table.

I don't know how to do this in DBC.

The ER has not been processed yet - I thin it should be (very) easy to implement.
