Have you filed an Incident with GSC to allow development to look at the dump?

How is the UDF LPAD defined?

Parameter Style? ( sql, or Td General )

NULL specification? (Called on Null input, Returns Null on Null input)

Transaction MODE: ANSI or BTET ?
