Using Perl 5.6 and DBD::Teradata 1.20, one of our developers has written a PERL script to extract some information from Teradata.
When the connection is made, the LogonSource column in DBC.EventLog is populated with some spurious information, e.g.: -
(TCP/IP) 04D5 10.10.66.14 ????? =
=A7E=BA=B7=C8=C2=C4...-3=D5=CCFL=D1=CC=CFEX"=D7=CB=A3Y*s=DCS=CA=D4=B5W
Does anyone know whether anything can be done to make this information more useful, please?
