Does someone know what the correct range of the TERADATA FLOAT datatype? The DBS throws error "3755 Numeric overflow error" for float value 2x10**308.

The V2R4.0 documentation says the range for the FLOAT data type is 2 x 10**-307 to 2 x 10**+308.

V2R6 is more precise:

"Represent values in sign/magnitude form ranging from 2.226 x 10e-308 to 1.797 x 10e+308"
