The Multiload reference manual (R5) on pg. 2-38 has a table on "Impact of down AMPs". If an AMP goes offline (a system restart obviously occurs) and depending on the mload phase and if any target tables are non-fallback (most probable I would think), the mload task will pause and problem resolution needs to happen before restarting mload.
