There was a posting in April regarding the non-use of Dynamic Partition Elimination by a query running in V2R5.1. There were numerous responses suggesting reasons why DPE was not used on that particular query (i.e. stats indicating the table was very small) but no one really answered the central question: does DPE work in V2R5.1? Has anyone tested DPE in V2R5.1 and determined that DPE does, in fact, "work as advertised"?
