Subj:   Re: Question on Concurrent sessions

From:   Victor Sokovin

All our web applications connect to TD using a single application-user name (in this case 'A').

In other words how are logonoff rows differentiated when you run one bteq script which creates 5 concurrent sessions Vs. running 5 different bteq scripts all using same userid/password.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm afraid LOGONOFF does not differentiate such cases. You might take a look at the optional query logging options in Teradata (this forum's archives could be a good starting point). They allow detailed user SQL logging but will require some set-up effort and regular maintenance. Perhaps then you can analyze user access data on the level you require.

Regards,

Victor
