In my tests FastExport is sometimes very sensitive to the number of sessions--how many are you using? Often 8 or even 4 works best. I've seen significant throughput declines from too many sessions. I've seen 60 MB/second for both w/500 byte rows on 8 node 5380--that's standalone.

What are the throughputs you're seeing by phase (fdl acquisition v apply, fxp select v return)? How many bytes loaded/exported? Row size? Client cpu (reported in the FXP/FDL stdout)?. Was there contention from other workload on Teradata or the client as a factor? Also client os/cpu, Teradata os/cpu and system size.
