Unfortunately not (Unless you count Microsoft Exchange as different from Outlook)

If you use an SNMP system such as Tivoli or Unicenter you could have them send the email based on an SNMP trap that is raise by the Alert system.

Or you could use the 'Run a program' option to execute an app that sends emails.

Neither is a great solution however.
