Hi,

We wish to alter one column on a large table which is currently defined as Decimal(9,0) and make it Decimal(9,4) instead.

Is there any reason why we should not do this? Are we correct in saying that the number of bytes in Teradata will remain the same and the alter command should do the job for us?
