From:   David Wellman

Hi Mike,

I suspect that Teradata will either check the partition that the logon request is for, or it looks at the program name (which sounds a dodgy way of doing it) or the block utilities pass across a logon parameter which says "I'm a block utility" which triggers the database to check the limit. This isn't stored in a table directly. The check will be done against either an internal (transaction ?) table or something like dbc.sessioninfo.

Cheers,

Dave
