Mark,

TS/API will only access data - not an update call. You want to be able to call the BTEQ module from REXX to execute SQL.

So any method that REXX would use to execute a program (in the old CLIST code it was exec 'aasaga.aaaaa.loadlib(BTEQ)' type construct I think.

If anyone knows how to try and execute an external program, e.g. C, C++, Assembler etc (This is MVS based REXX I know) then that should be how to execute the BTEQ but need to define the SYSIN files etc like running BTEQ in MVS for real.
