Chris,

How would I convert / Cast a field containing HEX into the ASCII equivalent?

I was offered this challenge and did not have the answer so I thought I would send this challenge out to the A-Team.

Did you look into the hex literals syntax like _LATIN 'Some Hex Digits'XC= ?

SQL Reference Vol. 3 & 5 have a few examples.
