Hello,

I'm currently having a problem with a small tables / large table query, where I get three different explain plans for the exact same query. The only difference is the user executing the query and only in one case does Teradata perform the way I want it to: Join small tables and redistribute to all AMPs then merge join based on PI of big table.

The query does contain a qualification on the user system variable, but I have never seen the explain change based on the user running the query. Has anybody else seen this behavior and is it a new 'feature'? Can it be prevented?

The version we're on is V2R.05.00.02.21
