Hi All,

Can any1 throw some insights on how/when/what scenarios Redistribution and Duplication occurs in small table joining a big fat table. I am Joining on the Primary Index columns but even then when I watch at PMON it show redistributing the big fat table and joining with the small table using Product Join. Why does this happen??

We are using 20-AMP Teradata System does the number of AMPs has anything to do with redistribution/duplication?
