According to the PM/API manual, the description for vproc/virtual disk use is:

For vproc-level displays, this value is computed from ResUsageSldv table data, assuming n is the number of logical devices used by this AMP or PE:

     100.00 * (LdvOutReqTime1 + ... + LdvOutReqTimen) / (n * SampleSec)

Note: DiskUse does not take into account overlapping of operations among multiple SCSI controllers, but it allows for the possibility of multiple requests for the same controller.
