I am about to inherit an application that runs on Solaris (the application server) and uses Teradata V2R5 on a MPRAS box as a database server.

There is a move to replace the Solaris application server, with an AIX box and access the Teradata database as usual. Documentation I have read through so far indicates that Teradata/IBM supports this type of connection.

Is there anyone out who has an application running AIX and sending requests to a Teradata database.
