Teradata is committed to Linux. We anticipate doing a public announcement in 30-90 days. Beta is anticipated to be 1H05 and anticipate GCA to
be 2H05. We have investigated the open source issues for Linux and we can protect our intellectual property that differentiates Teradata from the
competition when we release our Teradata on Linux offer.
For Client Tools and Utilities, CLI and JDBC are already available on Linux. With TTU 8.0 scheduled for December 2004, ODBC, MultiLoad,
FastLoad, FastExport, TPump, Access Modules, Connectivity and ARC/DUL/NetVault will all be available on Linux.
