Kevin,

From what I remember, you will need to install 2 things:

1. NBU client software - provided by Veritas. The NBU client on the nt-backup machine then needs to be able to talk to the NBU Master server - there typically is only one (maybe two) for an enterprise.

2. Teradata client plug-in for Veritas - provided by NCR, to talk to NBU. this plug-in is what actually creates and runs the arcmain and batch scripts.

I am not sure, but I believe that NBU Backup solution will no longer be supported starting early 2005. Please confirm with NCR. They may have other backup solutions/products.
