Two little comments on Jeff's paper. In the first example, the third '-' should be a blank. Also, the sentence "The timestamp data type
does not have a format command" may be confusing to some. I suggest: "Teradata requires the format 'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss' for timestamps; year,
month, and so on must be arranged in exactly that order."
