Subj:   Re: Hexadecimal value for char-Mload error

From:   Victor Sokovin

The problem arises when the field is null.

In the case, when it is null the decimal gets stored as low values (what i mean is spaces or all zeroes- which means not in decimal format !!). So it would not even be able to read the column - rows would go into ET for all such rows.

  How do I proceed ?

Perhaps it's only me but it is difficult to follow. What are you discussing now? Are you back to the original question or is this a new question after you have applied some suggestions in the thread (if so, which suggestions exactly have you taken on board?)?

I think that if you could reformulate the question from scratch, with the relevant part of the script and table defintion, you might get more feedback.

Victor
